In May, SuperteamNG proved that we are not just participants in a blockchain ecosystem — we are actively building it.
This month was a celebration of progress, collaboration, and tangible impact. Here's a comprehensive overview of the milestones we achieved across the country:
1. Builders Were In Action
May commenced with unwavering energy and intention. The Co-Hack Tour swept across seven states — Enugu, Edo, Kwara, Lagos, Borno, Adamawa, and Plateau, bringing together developers, designers, and product thinkers. These events were more than just hackathons. They sparked local innovation. Young builders turned their ideas into real solutions. It was a space where creativity grew and hard work was recognised.
In Imo and Akwa-Ibom, our Hacker Hostels provided builders with a place to stay and work for three days straight. These spaces turned into idea hubs, where people could rest, think, and build without distractions. The energy was focused, and each breakthrough brought us closer to something great.
Then came Abuja.
The Build Station gave the builders five full days to focus and complete their tasks. It wasn’t just a sprint; it helped them take off. People came with rough ideas and left with real, working projects. The energy was high, and the results were impressive.

Our Demo Days in Lagos and Abuja followed shortly after, giving builders a chance to showcase the solutions they’ve been working on. These events weren’t just about the products; they also celebrated the creative minds behind them. The demos challenged the usual way of doing things and pointed toward a better future.
But we didn’t stop there.
Demo Circuits: Because innovation doesn’t live in just one place; it’s everywhere. So we hit the road again with our Demo Circuits: five regional showcases across the country where builders shared what they’d built in front of real communities. It spotlighted local talent. These weren’t just presentations, they were declarations of innovation from builders ready to scale.
Altschool Breakout Hackathon - Products from Enugu, Abuja and Rivers came tops in the local side track :
1st – VerxioProtocol — The loyalty infrastructure powering real asset utility across every consumer app, built on Metaplex Core.
2nd – Nectar-Finance — This is a stablecoin savings tool made for everyday people.
3rd – TheJajaProject — This is Mythic Realms, a fun game where you battle with African myths and level up your heroes on Solana!
Juju Games went live with a playtest, inviting community members to experience the gameplay firsthand and share their feedback in real-time. The session provided a valuable opportunity to gather insights, spot bugs, and refine the gaming experience based on direct input from players.

Bridging Chains, Building Africa – Stellar West African Conference
Our Co-lead, Harri, represented Solana at the 2025 Stellar West African Conference, joining a powerful panel discussion on cross-chain collaboration in Africa. Alongside leaders like iamcharis (Base), DivineVessel (Ethereum), chiidubem (Lisk), and DavidOgoegbunem (Stellar), they explored how different ecosystems can collaborate to propel the continent forward. This is a practical example of different chains with a common goal: building Africa’s blockchain future.
