Institutional Recognition

Harri Obi, co-lead of SuperteamNG, spoke at the National Assembly to the House of Reps Ad-hoc Committee on the Implications of Cryptocurrency Adoption in Nigeria, urging the Committee to adopt a clear and balanced regulations, to keep blockchain talent and innovation in Nigeria.

The Special Assistant on Digital Innovations to the Kwara State Governor, Ishola Kayode, on behalf of the Executive Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, sent warm greetings to SuperteamNG; recognising the community’s inspiring work in empowering young innovators across Nigeria and Africa, and also extended an official invitation to the upcoming Kwara State Future Exhibitions.

At the event, SuperteamNG was represented by the Design Guild Lead, TOC,who met with Ishola Kayode, the Special Assistant on Digital Innovations to the Governor. The event, attended by the Governor, commissioners, and other notable figures, highlighted our ongoing push to expand Solana across the region.

GetCryptonia’s Record-Breaking Month

October marked another milestone for GetCryptonia, which processed over $400K, surpassed $1M+ on-chain volume, and crossed 10,000+ transactions with 5,800 users. Every number reinforced one truth: Solana adoption in Nigeria is accelerating.

Audit and Innovation Wins

Rhiva received support through Solana’s $1M Audit Subsidy Program, celebrating a milestone moment for security and growth in Nigeria’s Solana space.

Meanwhile, Coresightbot was featured on ntbts_news as Product Spotlight of the Week, serving over 3,000 customers, including Solana users.

Roomz and the Cypherpunk Hackathon

At Roomz, builders locked in for 24 hours during the Colosseum Cypherpunk Hackathon, brainstorming through the night and designing around the Creator Coin bias; a concept reimagining fan-creator engagement on-chain.

A_ix_d’s Open Source Innovation

FX open-sourced Bifrost, a WebTransport proxy that lets browsers send Solana transactions directly to validator TPUs. The release drew attention from top ecosystem figures, including Anatoly Yakovenko, Colosseum, and Uri Klarman, marking a major technical contribution from Nigeria’s developer community.

Legendsdotfun opens the gates

Legendsdotfun announced a dedicated invite code for all SuperteamNG builders, giving them a chance to showcase their products, climb the leaderboard, and boost visibility ahead of the Cypherpunk hackathon.

Talent Scouts

SuperteamNG’s co-leads, Nzube Ezeudo and Harri Obi, were among a select few appointed as Superteam Talent Scouts, tasked with discovering and onboarding top African talent into Solana’s global ecosystem.

Community & Events

The “Pitch in 30 Seconds” mini-competition hosted by Goddesswriter1 and thejustinson, with Nzube Ezeudo and depitchsofian, added extra excitement, rewarding winners from a $100 prize pool.

Regional Build Stations

Across the region, Build Stations took place in Enugu, Edo, Rivers, Bayelsa, and Akwa Ibom, where founders showcased their products, shared experiences, received feedback, and explored fresh ideas on Solana.

Lagos hosted the Cypherpunk Hacker Hostel, where ten Solana founders refined products and pitch decks.

Across Nigeria, Solana builders from all six regions; North East, North West, North Central, South East, South South, and South West, showcased their product during the virtual demo.

Builders gathered in Abuja for the colosseum Cypherpunk Hackathon Build Station; collaborating, refining projects, and polishing pitch decks ahead of the final submissions.

Guild Activities

The Creators’ Guild hosted hangouts in Cross River, Ondo, Abuja, Niger, Kwara, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Gombe, Kogi, and Edo.

The Developers’ Guild held meetups in Imo, Kaduna, Anambra, Abia, Niger, Kwara, Gombe, and Nasarawa.

Workshops and Learning Sessions

Goddesswriter hosted a 3-day workshop on building full apps with Replit.

Rhiva ran a Smart Liquidity Workshop in Enugu, onboarding a new generation of liquidity providers.

MeteoraNaija, in partnership with SuperteamNG Kogi, hosted a Liquidity Provision (LP) workshop in Lokoja

At TOKO Academy, 240Nature and Web3Geek01, one of the regional leads, introduced young talents to Solana’s ecosystem and developer opportunities.

A special AMA with SolanaCollectiv, hosted by kryptdou_ and D_deevin, dived into the fALL OUT Content Hackathon.

Testing Sprints & Demos, hosted by wysrenee and thelilinuel, brought together top builders including RealEmber, four-time Solana Hackathon winner and co-founder of DDGamingLabs; alongside Scrollyfeed, to share insights on hackathon strategy.

SuperteamNG also teamed up with SuperteamDE for a Product Call featuring Saint Martin, founder of xelio_xyz and a Solana Hackathon winner, who offered feedback and tested products from our local builder community.

Product Reviews & Cypher Chronicles

Thejustinson hosted a product testing and review sprint that stress-tested SuperteamNG projects alongside BigWells_sol and wysrenee.

Cypher Chronicles, hosted by Angry Pacifist and Asiel Amaka of the Writers’ Guild, brought together builders and storytellers to stress-test a mystery product, uncovering its breaking points and helping founders build better.

Solana Students Africa

Adeola Lasisi, a Solana Students Africa Hackathon winner, earned a fully sponsored slot for the Web3Bridge Cohort XIII, joining twenty builders from across Africa in a program dedicated to nurturing technical excellence on the continent.

NiYA Startup Pitch 1.0

SuperteamNG partnered with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development for NiYA Startup Pitch 1.0, alongside the Office of the President, SEC, NEXIM Bank, SMEDAN, and Sapphital.

Seventeen startups won ₦1M each and will will receive mentorship and intros to VCs from SuperteamNG.
